During lunch time today, I went to talk to the teacher in charge of the yearbook club about the photographs I took. I walked in, and before I could say anything, she asked me if I was interested in acting as a "freelance" photographer for the club. She went on telling me that she noticed my enthusiasm during the rally as I was taking the photographs and the fact that I was getting in close for the shots. She also mentioned that her students recommended me because they liked some of my other photography. More photographic opportunities for me? Fuck yeah, I'll do it!
So now I'm in the club (well, sort of). Not only do I have access to some of their nicer SLR cameras (like that Canon I used at the rally), I'll occasionally be tasked with taking photographs at certain school events (like footballs games and such. I hate going to sports events, but it's the price I'll have to pay to be able to do something awesome for a change. Awesome for me, anyway). Maybe if I'm lucky, she'll let me borrow her camera to take some personal photos with. That would be tits.
Let's see how far this goes.
